Bianchi Merino Wool Cycling Jersey
Bianchi is a brand without peer for lovers of European cycling – the world's oldest bicycle-making company still in existence, and a technological pioneer in many ways, including the use of equal-sized wheels with pneumatic rubber tires in 1885 and later the development of special drop-outs for the innovative new derailleurs introduced by Campagnolo in the early 1950s.
Legendary Bianchi riders have included Fausto Coppi, Marco Pantani, Mario Cipollini, Gianni Bugno, Laurent Fignon, and Jan Ullrich.
One such ‘great’ very closely involved with the company until his recent death was Felice Gimondi, one of only six cyclists to win all three grand tours. In 1973 he won the World Championships, so when we decided to produce a Bianchi jersey we decided the rainbow stripes were a ‘must’.
